HMS Glory was a pre-Dreadnought battleship that arrived in the eastern Mediterranaen in June 1915 and for the next seven months played a role in the Gallipoli campaign, where the Royal Navy provided much of the artillery support for the infantry ashore. Able Seaman Keen died of illness, on 11th August, 1915 after having been evacuated from Mudros to Egypt.
